Zurich left a lasting impression. A city that blends history with modern elegance, it’s a place where medieval buildings stand alongside sleek, contemporary designs, and the streets hum with energy while still offering quiet corners to escape into. Walking along the Limmat River, exploring the old town’s winding alleys, and soaking in the atmosphere of the bustling cafes gave me a deeper appreciation for the city’s unique character.

Needless to say, I fell in love with Zurich so much that Book Two of A Spirit Mage’s Journey takes place there. Writing about a city I had just experienced firsthand added a whole new layer of depth to the story. There’s something about Zurich that feels both timeless and full of mystery, making it the perfect backdrop for the next chapter in Katy’s journey.
