When we first arrived, the Matterhorn was nowhere to be seen, hidden behind a thick veil of clouds. The legendary peak felt like a secret the mountains weren’t ready to share. But we weren’t discouraged! We explored the charming town of Zermatt, took in the crisp alpine air, and enjoyed a cozy lunch with family and friends.

And then—as if on cue—the clouds parted. We hurried back to our viewing spot, and there it was: majestic, timeless, awe-inspiring. Seeing it emerge from the mist felt like a gift, a reminder that some of the most magical moments in life are worth the wait.
