Story
Brenna’s life isn’t the same after she discovers her unusual and mysterious heritage. In addition to being a telepath and having many paranormal abilities, Brenna learns she has the Succubus Gift. She has always been a good girl and isn’t comfortable seducing men, except one she really loves.
That’s just the beginning of her problems. Someone is stalking her. Will she be able to protect her newly acquired family and friends? Then there’s the tall, dangerous woman who shadows her and hints a Goddess has linked them. And what is she going to do with a handsome, charismatic, womanizing man she knows she should avoid?
Some days a girl just wants to pull the covers over her head and stay in bed -- with a willing young man of course.

Night Owl Reviews 4.5/5 Stars Top Pick award:
The novel itself is expertly written and an utter joy to read. The characters are all delightful. There were times while I was reading this that I laughed out loud, and other times when I held my breath in anticipation of what might occur. I was very thrilled to find out there... ...more
This book had it all; lots of action, romance, suspense and humor. Loaded with intrigue and drama, it was a very fast read! I was on pins and needles for the whole book, almost, waiting to see what would happen next. I really love Kingslover's writing style and I cannot wait for book #2! ...more
A Succubi's Tale 5/5 Pitchforks:
Well written, a story that kept me turning the pages and wanting to know more. Characters that were real with their faults, mistakes, and feet of clay. Great read!, April 25, 2012
By Catherine B. Graff: I was looking for one of Richelle Mead's Succubus books when I saw this one. I was cautious at first since I noticed it was a self-published novel but I find the idea of a story centered around a succubus interesting and bought it anyway. It's very different take than Mead's series. ...more

Great Paranormal Read, May 11, 2012
By Nancy: This book was a great surprise for me. I wasn't sure about it, given the "succubus" content - I wasn't looking for a dark sexual book. Luckily, this author's take on the succubus legend is very fresh and original, and for me - much more approachable. The entire concept of the "telepathic clans" tapped into my love of the paranormal and my attraction to history. ...more
