Introducing Chameleon Assassin

Book One in a New Series is Finished

announcingChameleonAssassin blogFive years ago, I had an idea for an urban fantasy novel. The result of that was The Succubus Gift and The Telepathic Clans Saga.

When I finished that series, I tried to do something different, and wrote Trust (originally titled Ashley’s Dream) and I’ll Sing for my Dinner. I really enjoyed writing them. Indeed, I wrote Trust in less than a month, start to finish. But once I finished those, I knew I needed to get back to science fiction and fantasy.

It’s been a year and a half since I last released a book. In that time, I’ve written about 450,000 words, or the equivalent of the Rings trilogy. I have two finished manuscripts that require some additional work, and three half-finished manuscripts.

However, I am very excited to announce that the first book in a new series is finished and is currently being edited. It will be available for preorder around the end of November, with the release scheduled for December 13. It’s called Chameleon Assassin. I plan it to be the first in a series of novels set in the near future, around the year 2300.

The book incorporates elements of science fiction, post-apocalyptic dystopian, and urban fantasy. If you liked Rebecca and Rhiannon in my Telepathic Clans books, I think you’ll like Libby, or Miss Elizabeth Nelson as she’s formally known.

Make sure you don’t miss any of the exciting events I have scheduled. First is the cover reveal, then the release of the new book, holiday sales and promotions, and some holiday contests and book giveaways.

Read most of the succubus stories and really liked them, so when I saw "Chameleon" I read it in nearly a single sitting. (sigh, big sigh) Therin lies the rub, I read too fast. I'm waiting with "anchovies" on my breath.("baited", some use it for fishing, ya, stupid sense of humor, I know) Exactly how early in 2017 can we expect the next "Chameleon"?
